Glass is shaped into fluid, organic forms that evoke the softness of flesh, transforming the artist’s own complex about fat into transparent strength.
When worn, the pieces embody both weight and light, fragility and resilience, inviting liberation from the fixed ideals of beauty ingrained in society.
Presented as rings and bangles.
ガラスを肉体の柔らかさを思わせる流動的で有機的な形に成形し、作者自身のコンプレックスであった脂肪を、透き通る強さへと変容させる。
身にまとうことで、重さと光、脆さとしなやかさを同時に宿し、社会に根づく美の固定観念からの解放を促す。
リングやバングルとして展開。
